BJP MLA Kesar Singh Gangwar from Nawabganj assembly constituency in Bareilly district died on Wednesday due to Corona virus infection. He was 64 years old. Sources in Gangwar’s family said that he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Noida where he died for the past several days.
BJP MLA Kesar Singh Gangwar from Nawabganj assembly constituency in Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Bareilly district, died of Corona virus infection on Wednesday. He was 64 years old. Sources in Gangwar’s family said that he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Noida where he died for the past several days. Recently he was found infected with the corona virus. Gangwar is survived by his wife, three daughters and a son. Gangwar was elected to the Legislative Council from the BSP in the year 2009 and joined the BJP in the 2017 assembly elections.
The party gave him a ticket from the Nawabganj seat on which he won. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences to his family while condoling the death of Gangwar. Apart from this, State BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh and General Secretary (Organization) Sunil Bansal have also expressed deep grief over the death of Gangwar.
Kesar Singh Gangwar is the third BJP MLA who died in the second wave of Kovid-19. Recently, BJP MLA Ramesh Diwakar from Auraiya and Suresh Srivastava, a party MLA from Lucknow West, have passed away from Corona.
