T20 World Cup 2021: World Cup to be held in UAE soon after IPL 2021

T20 World Cup Schedule : Now the picture seems to be clear about the T20 World Cup to be held this year. It has been learned that the T20 World Cup will start from 17 October and will run till 14 November. At the same time, it is also almost clear that the T20 World Cup will not be held in India but in the UAE. A media report states that the first few matches will be played in Oman. In such a situation, while the remaining matches of the suspended IPL 2021 i.e. Indian Premier League are ending on October 15. The T20 World Cup will start two days later with eight teams Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman, Papua New Guinea. Four of these teams will fight for a place in the Super-4.

It is said that Round 1 elimination matches will be held in UAE as well as Oman. However, let us also tell that no announcement has been made by the ICC or BCCI about this yet. It is believed that the announcement will be made in four to five days. Earlier, when the ICC meeting was held on June 1, then the BCCI had asked for a month’s time, whose deadline is ending this month. It is said that the coming three to four days are going to be very special for the T World Cup.

Actually, the T20 World Cup was to be held in India itself, but due to Corona virus, it does not seem possible. Right now, the cases of corona virus in India have been less than before, but in the meantime a third wave is also being feared. In such a situation, BCCI does not want to take any risk. But the BCCI has not announced it officially yet. Along with this, it also has to be seen that in case of World Cup being held in UAE, who will host it. BCCI will try to keep the hosting with itself.
