It cannot be restored till doomsday happens.” Raina, former deputy chief ministers Nirmal Singh and Kavinder Gupta had attended an all-party meeting on Jammu and Kashmir, chaired by the Prime Minister, on June 24. Raina said that the said meeting has ended the political deadlock in the Union Territory for nearly two and a half years. Asked about PDP President Mehbooba Mufti’s claim that she would not participate in the elections till Article 370 is not restored, Raina said the registered political parties should now go ahead and work for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
