Sharad Pawar said that the alliance was not discussed in the meeting (Rashtra Manch meeting), but if any alternative force is to be created, it will be done by taking Congress along. We want such power and we said the same thing in the meeting.
An important meeting of opposition leaders was convened at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s place with an exercise to give a new political option to the country. Sometimes it was being described as the third front of non-BJP parties and sometimes it was a platform to draw a blueprint for the preparations for 2024. But on all kinds of speculations, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has ruled out the possibility of any kind of political alliance in the near future. He said that playing the role of collective leadership, we have to move forward. I did this for years but for now I will work to hold, guide and strengthen them all together.
Pawar said the alliance was not discussed in the meeting (Rashtra Manch meeting), but if any alternative force is to be created, it will be done by taking Congress along. We want such power and we said the same thing in the meeting. Responding to the statement of Congress contesting elections alone, Sharad Pawar said that every political party has the right to expand. We also give such statements to increase the energy of party workers. Similarly, if Congress says something like this (to fight the next elections alone) we welcome it as it is their right.
