Former president of congress Rahul Gandhi On Saturday expressed grief over the deaths of 20 patients at a hospital in Delhi due to lack of oxygen and expressed condolences to the families of the victims. He tweeted, “The death of many patients due to lack of oxygen at the Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi is very sad. My condolences to the families of the victims. ”
The Congress leader called upon the Delhi government and party workers to extend all possible help to the victims’ families. Significantly, 20 acutely ill patients died overnight in Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi amidst a severe oxygen crisis. Officials gave this information on Saturday.
“The pressure of oxygen has decreased due to depletion of reserves,” Dr. DK Balooja, the hospital’s medical director, told PTI. He said that there are about 200 patients admitted to the hospital and they had only half an hour of oxygen left at 10.45 am.
