New Zealand has chosen two flag bearers for the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Games. After the Rio Olympics, Bond began competing in cycling. He returned to rowing for the Tokyo Games and will be a member of the New Zealand eight team. The opening ceremony of the Olympics will take place on 23 July.
