There is no dearth of fans of New Zealand cricketers across the world including India and Williamson expressed hope that nothing will change even after this win. “It feels good that we are India’s second favorite team. The captain said, “It is a proud moment in history for us. We kept on doing well as a team and the win turned it into a wonderful feeling.” Indian captain Virat Kohli has demanded that the future World Test Championship be decided through a three-Test series. To this Williams said that there will be arguments from both sides but it will be difficult for the ICC to work out a schedule.
