Of the 2,767 patients who died in a single day, 676 died in Maharashtra, 357 in Delhi, 222 in Uttar Pradesh, 218 in Chhattisgarh, 208 in Karnataka, 152 in Gujarat, 110 in Jharkhand and 104 in Madhya Pradesh. So far 1,92,311 people have died due to this epidemic in the country. Of these, 63,928 people died in Maharashtra, 14,283 in Karnataka, 13,475 in Tamil Nadu, 13,898 in Delhi, 10,959 in Uttar Pradesh, 10,884 in West Bengal, 8,356 in Punjab and 7,616 in Andhra Pradesh.
