After the meeting was over, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti came forward to talk to the media. PDP Chief’s love for Pakistan once again came to the fore. He again raised the tone of talks with Pakistan and said that the government should talk to Pakistan.
The four-and-a-half-hour long meeting on Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to an end. Nearly two years after the abrogation of Article 370, talks have been held with state leaders on behalf of the central government. After the meeting was over, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti came forward to talk to the media. PDP Chief’s love for Pakistan once again came to the fore. He again raised the tone of talks with Pakistan and said that the government should talk to Pakistan. You are talking with China where there is no involvement of the people. If you have to talk to Pakistan, you should do it, it gives peace to the people of Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti said that I told the Prime Minister in the meeting that if you had to remove Article 370, then you should have called the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and removed it. There was no right to remove it illegally. We want to restore Article 370 in a constitutional and legal way.
Significantly, this is not the first time that Mehbooba Mufti’s love for Pakistan has come to the fore. Even before leaving for Delhi from Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti had said that if you can talk to Taliban then why not Pakistan? Mehbooba Mufti said that the Gupkar Alliance is not ready for the agreement on 370. Mehbooba Mufti said that you must have heard that our government is going to Doha and talking to the Taliban. So talk to everyone in Jammu and Kashmir. Talk to Pakistan also for a solution.
