The special oxygen rail of the Indian Railways from Bokaro has reached Uttar Pradesh. The state is also getting oxygen supply from Modinagar, Kashipur, Panipat and Roorkee plants. The Chief Minister directed to ensure smooth delivery of this oxygen with transparency. Claiming that there is no lack of oxygen to any patient in the state, Yogi said that small districts like Bahraich, Firozabad etc. should be allocated oxygen from their divisional headquarters. He said that oxygen is being sent from tankers in various districts including Gorakhpur, Bareilly. GPS monitoring of these tankers should be made and adequate security forces should be provided.

Emphasizing the need to balance oxygen demand and supply, Yogi said that oxygen audit should be conducted and those who are undergoing treatment in different habitats should be provided oxygen as per requirement. The Chief Minister informed that from next May 1, vaccination of all the people above 18 years of age is to be started. This vaccination will be completely free for the citizens and a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Suresh Khanna will prepare an action plan for the smooth functioning of this entire process. He said that every case of death of Kovid infected is unfortunate and the last rites of all such people should be ensured in accordance with the Kovid protocol under the supervision of the administration, following their religious beliefs and traditions. Yogi said that the family of the deceased should be treated sensitively. The Chief Minister said that there is a system of giving assistance to the government for the last rites of members of poor families. He said that Panchayati Raj and Urban Development Department should ensure that these arrangements are implemented.
