Kovid-19: Maharashtra becomes the first state in the country to administer three crore vaccines


Maharashtra has become the first state in India to administer three crore COVID-19 vaccines since the nationwide immunization campaign was launched on January 16 this year to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Mumbai. Maharashtra has become the first state in India to administer three crore COVID-19 vaccines since the nationwide immunization campaign was launched on January 16 this year to prevent the spread of coronavirus. A senior health official of the state gave this information on Friday.

Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Dr Pradeep Vyas said that 2,97,23,951 doses of vaccine were given in Maharashtra till Thursday, while the figure of three crores reached around 2 pm on Friday. He said, by 2 pm the total number of vaccine doses reached 3,00,27,217.
