Along with this, it was decided to remove the original customs duty on import of Kovid-19 vaccines for the next three months with immediate effect. According to a statement issued by the Finance Ministry, the decision was taken in a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister chaired this high-level meeting to discuss measures to increase the supply of oxygen and oxygen related equipment.
