A surprising case has come to light from Muktsar Sahib in Punjab. Actually, a 19-year-old girl was married here 9 days ago. When the girl reached her maternal home after 9 days of marriage, she along with her lover committed suicide by jumping out of the house into the village water tank.

There has been silence in the village since this incident. Police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. On coming home from her in-laws’ house, the girl talked to her lover and both of them decided to end their life.

The family came to know about the incident when they went out to find the girl but they came to know that she along with her lover had committed suicide by jumping into a water tank. Before committing suicide, the girl broke the bangles of her new marriage. After this, together with her lover, jumped into the tank.

According to the information, both of them did not tell the family about their love and since then there is an atmosphere of sorrow in the village. In the morning the girl had gone asking her family to bring the goods from the shop and did not return. The bodies of both the girl and her lover were found in the water tank. Police is doing further investigation by sending the bodies of both to the civic hospital for post-mortem.
