Gadkari is angry with the inconveniences on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

The Delhi-Meerut Expressway was to be constructed separately for bicycles and pedestrians. In which 2.5 meter wide cycle corridor and 2 meter wide pavement have been built. At the same time, more than 4,500 lights and cameras have been installed on this expressway.

New Delhi. Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari is not happy with the facilities available on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The expressway was opened for public use on 1 April this year. After which Nitin Gadkari is angry with the company that built this expressway. According to HT report, public facilities were arranged on both sides of this expressway. Due to which negligence has been spent in the construction. In such a situation, Gadkari is upset with the company that built the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

Gadkari said this – Nitin Gadkari said- I have seen the picture of Delhi-Meerut Expressway, I do not want to take the name of the contractor. However, the expressway he has built is very bad and dirty. He said that those who pass through this expressway will not like to use the facility of toilets.

Expressways are made with this much cost Of the 82 km long road between Delhi-Meerut, 60 km is part of the expressway and 22 km is of the national highway. At the same time, about 68,346 crore rupees have been incurred in its construction. Along with this, ambulances, cranes, petrol pumps, restaurants, vehicles maintenance shops were to be constructed for the people traveling on this expressway.At the same time, Gadkari said that people are happy with the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. For which people are thanking me. But they are also paying attention to those things. Where there is a shortage in this expressway and work has not been done as per the standard. He regretted that Delhi-Meerut highway contractors have failed to build adequate roadside facilities where people can make themselves comfortable.
