Gorakhpur. Villagers gathered on seeing the floating body at 9 am in Jang Bahadur Ali Chiluatal under Chiluatal police station. On the information of the villagers, the in-charge of Chiluatal police station brought out the floating corpse. The villagers identified him as 39-year-old Shyam Dev, son of Jungle Madhav, number two Mohripur Satyanarayan Madheshiya.

Whose floating this morning at 9 am, the brother of the deceased Vishnu Kumar Madheshia informed the police that the dead body was seen landing in Chiluatal near Jungle Bahadur Ali Idgah. On receipt of information about the incident, station in-charge Chiluatal Jai Narayan Shukla immediately informed his senior officers.
Superintendent of Police North Manoj Kumar Awasthi reached the spot and got information from the local people. SP North Manoj Kumar Awasthi told that the body is being sent to the BRD Medical College post-mortem house. Only after the medical report comes, the facts will be known as to what caused Shyam Dev’s death. Prima facie, the said person seems to have died due to drowning, a case has been registered against the unknown at the police station. The police will be able to reach any conclusion only after the medical report comes. The deceased Shyam Dev were five brothers who used to earn their living by living separately. The deceased has left behind his wife and three children, who have become in bad condition, now after the medical report comes, the police will take further action.
