Earlier on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is no shortage of medical oxygen in any private or government Kovid hospital in the state. The Chief Minister also said during an online interaction with the editors of various newspapers that the state government would conduct an audit with regard to this life-saving gas in association with various institutions. He said, there is no lack of oxygen in any Kovid hospital in the state. The problem is black marketing and hoarding, which will be dealt with vigorously. We are going to do an oxygen audit with IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow and IIT BHU to monitor it properly. The Chief Minister said, ‘Every patient of Kovid-19 does not require oxygen and cooperation is required from the media to spread awareness about this.
