Defense Minister will visit Cochin Shipyard to review the construction work of indigenous aircraft carrier

Kochi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Cochin Shipyard Limited here on Friday to review the progress of the construction work of the indigenous aircraft carrier. This information was given in a defense release here. The ship will be known as INS Vikrant when it is inducted into the Navy. Singh arrived here on Thursday evening from the Southern Naval Command, the release said. This is his first visit to the command. He is accompanied by Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh. After reviewing the progress in the construction of the indigenous aircraft carrier, Singh will also visit some important training establishments of the Southern Naval Command.
