Boxing Federation of India (BFI) executive director RK Sacheti (BFI ED RK Sacheti Died) died on Tuesday morning from Corona. He was 56 years old. He was fighting the battle of Corona for the last few days in a hospital in Delhi.

IOA also expressed grief over the death of RK SachetiThe Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has also expressed grief over his death. IOA Secretary General Rajiv Mehta said in a statement that it was very sad to hear about the passing away of Joint Secretary of IOA Associate, Executive Director of BFI and my love friend Rajkumar Sacheti. He was a major contributor to the promotion of the Olympic and Commonwealth Games in the country. In 2016, Sacheti became the ED of BFI for the first time and retained the post after the re-election of President Ajay Singh in the Federation elections earlier this year.

The Athletics Federation of India also expressed grief over the death of Sacheti. AFI President Adil Sumariwala said that I knew him for 30 years, he had been a part of many big sports competitions in the country and gave many youngsters a chance in the industry.
