Congress Senior leader of P Chidambaram Said on Saturday that in the country Corona virus The claim that there is no shortage of anti-vaccines is hollow and the government will face heavy opposition if the people arriving for vaccination have to return from hospitals. The former home minister also welcomed the decision to vaccinate people above 18 years of age in the country from May 1. He tweeted, “However, we have to warn the government that this decision has also brought a big responsibility on it.”

Chidambaram said that the first and foremost need in the country is to ensure the availability of vaccines as there are so many complaints that the vaccines are not being supplied properly. “The claim that there is no shortage of vaccines is hollow and untrue,” he claimed. According to the Congress leader, the demand for vaccines will increase from May 1, hence ensuring full availability of them and if people had to return from hospitals. The government will face heavy opposition. Chidambaram said that in view of the huge demand for vaccines in the coming days, the government should make preparations right now.
