An FIR has been registered under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) on Sunday following the blast that took place after two explosive-laden drones fell at the Air Force station located in the Jammu airport complex. Giving information about this, officials indicated that the matter is likely to be taken over by the NIA, the agency probing terrorism-related cases. Officials said that the drones fell on the Air Force station located in the Jammu airport complex last night. After joining the investigation, she (NIA) is already monitoring the investigation at the blast site. An FIR has been registered under relevant sections. According to officials, two IAF personnel were injured in two blasts that took place at 1:40 pm at an interval of six minutes. The roof of a building in the airport’s technical area collapsed in the first explosion in the city’s Satwari area. The Air Force is responsible for maintaining this spot and the second explosion took place on the ground six minutes later. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh termed the incident as a ‘terrorist attack’.
