India Coronavirus News: A record 3,60,960 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in India, after which the total cases of infection have increased to 1,79,9,267.
Ottawa Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that his country will provide $ 10 million in aid to India in dealing with the Kovid-19 pandemic. Addressing the press conference, Trudeau said that Foreign Minister Mark Garno has spoken to his counterpart in India, S. Jaishankar, about what kind of help Canada can provide.
The Prime Minister said, “We are also ready to provide one million dollars to the Indian Red Cross through the Canada Red Cross.” He said that this would help in purchasing many equipment from ambulances to PPE. About the conversation between the foreign ministers of the two countries, Trudeau said, “We are in talks about how we can help.”
He said, ‘Canada is very worried about the kind of tragic and frightening pictures that are coming from India.’ Earlier, Foreign Minister Garno said on Twitter that he spoke to his Indian counterpart Jaishankar about the situation created by Kovid-19 and gave a message of Canada’s solidarity towards the people of India.
