Impressed by the payment of Municipal Corporation Gorakhpur, honest working method and efficient work of sanitation workers, Rs. Cheque of 11 lakhs was happily handed over to the Mayor from the CSR item for arranging the uniforms, kits etc. of the cleaning workers. On which the Municipal Commissioner and the concerned officers were directed by the Mayor that uniform and kit should be provided to all the concerned Safai Karamcharis. Due to which more interest is created in the employees towards cleanliness and cleanliness and morale towards work remains high. drain cleaning drive
In the drain cleaning campaign being run by the Municipal Corporation, on June 24, 2021, Verma Colony, Alhadadpur, Ghasiyari Mohalla Nala, Ramlila Maidan Nala, Elahibagh Bandha, Patrakarpuram, Jatepur Railway Colony, Jatepur Northern Railway Line and next to the Civil Line Special cleaning campaign -2, Goplapur, Sector-3 Jungle Salikgram, Shaktinagar Nala, District Magistrate’s residence, Raptinagar drain from Highil office, Jatepur Northern Railway line side drains cleaned. Also, under the night drain cleaning campaign, the work of cleaning the drain from Ghasiyari Regulator to Barfkhana Road, near Sitapur Eye Hospital was done. Along with cleaning the drain, immediate disposal of silt is also being done, so that the silt cannot enter the drains again when it rains. A fine of Rs 1,000 was also recovered from the encroachers while removing the encroachments which were obstructing the drain cleaning near the barfkhana.
