Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Delhi will have 1,200 additional ICU beds by May 10. Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister had inspected both the sites along with Health Minister Satendra Jain and senior officials and reviewed the preparations.

Delhi’s chief minister Arvind kejriwal has Corona virus Describing the current wave of water as dangerous and more contagious, on Tuesday, it said that there will be an additional 1200 ICU beds in the national capital by 10 May. Kejriwal said that a center of 500 ICU beds will be built at Ramlila Maidan while another center of similar capacity will be set up near GTB Hospital.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister along with Health Minister Sathendra Jain and senior officials visited both the sites and took stock of the preparations. He said that 200 ICU beds are being prepared at Radha Swami Satsang Beas in Chhatarpur, Delhi. Kejriwal said in the online media briefing, “It is seen that the current wave is dangerous. It is quite contagious and those coming into contact with it are not able to recover as fast as was seen in the previous wave.
