Barabanki police have arrested a male and a class IV female employee working in the hospital for stealing the mobile phones of a Corona patient after investigation.
The accused Mayo Hospital staff told the police during interrogation that the patients used to give their mobile phones to us for charging, and if the patients died of corona, they would keep their mobile with them.

After the death of Corona patients here, the vicious people who cleaned their hands on their mobile phones have been exposed. Mobile theft was not done by anyone but the hospital staff. In fact, during treatment, the patients used to give the battery to the hospital staff to charge the battery of their phones. After charging the phone, the employees gave it back to the patients. But during this time, if a patient died of corona, the hospital staff would clean their hands on their mobile. The case is related to Mayo Hospital in Nagar Kotwali area, where the relatives of the two deceased had complained to the police about the theft of their mobile phones. After investigation, the police arrested a male and a class IV female employee working in the hospital in this case. During interrogation, the accused told the police that the patients used to give their mobile phones to us for charging, and if the patients died of corona, they would keep the mobile with them. In this case, Superintendent of Police (SP) Yamuna Prasad said that two patients died due to corona in Mayo Hospital. His family had complained to the police that his mobile phone had not been provided along with his patient’s belongings. Mobile phone is missing. On this, the police investigated and arrested two employees of Mayo Hospital and recovered the mobile. He said that further methodical action is being taken against the accused.
