Surfside (USA). Five people were killed and 156 people are missing after a 12-story building collapsed near Miami in South Florida on Saturday. Rescuers are searching for survivors amid the rubble of the fire and the smoke rising from it. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniela Levine Cava said five bodies had been pulled from the rubble and 156 were still missing. “Our top priority is to intensify the search and rescue operation so that the lives of those we can save can be saved,” he said. Due to this there is a lot of difficulty in the rescue operation.

A crane removed pieces of debris from a 30-foot pile in the city of Surfside, and rescue teams used a range of equipment, including large machines, small buckets, drones and microphones, to remove the debris. US President Joe Biden tweeted that he spoke to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Friday and assured him of all possible help. He expressed regret over the incident.
